Blue Valley Dermatology, located in south Overland Park, is committed to spreading the word about the dangers of skin cancer.
Dr Lauren Kyle and staff spend the month of May raising awareness for melanoma and the affects that it can have on families. It is estimated that there will be over 175,000 new cases of melanoma diagnosed in 2018 and there is no reliable cure for melanoma. In most cases, all the physician can do is cut cancerous tissue from the body.  Once melanoma has spread to other parts of the body life expectancy can rapidly diminish so it's vital that early detection and surgical treatment is given.... Following a thorough executive search, KidsTLC Board of Directors unanimously agreed to hire Dr. Erin Dugan as CEO. Dr. Dugan currently serves as Assistant Superintendent for General Administration for the Olathe Public Schools where she plays a key district-wide leadership role. During her career, she has consistently focused on serving students with disabilities, facilitating specialized services for students with autism and supporting children and families struggling with mental health challenges.
