Blue Valley Recreation Commission named Jason Goin as the
facility supervisor for the new indoor recreation facility being built at the
Blue Valley School District’s Hilltop Campus. Most recently, Goin served as the
director of the Spring Hill Recreation Commission. Goin officially began his
duties in late March as the facility is scheduled to open this fall.A graduate of Kansas State University, Goin is actively
involved in the parks and recreation profession. He earned accreditation as a
Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) and completed Kansas
Recreation and Park Association’s (KRPA) Tomorrow’s Leader program. In
addition, he continued his education through the National Recreation and Park
Association’s (NRPA) Revenue School.
“Jason brings a multi-faceted experience base from his years
in the profession,” said Blue Valley Rec executive director Steve Baysinger. “He
has high energy and a commitment to excellence with a strong drive to serve the
citizens our community.”
Goin will manage the indoor facility that includes an indoor
run/walk track, eight basketball courts, eight volleyball courts, at least four
pickle ball courts, and a fitness center. He will also oversee programming and
staff throughout the facility.

positive addition to the community for health and wellness while also meeting
programming needs for current and future Blue Valley Rec activities.”
