2019 Economic Forecast Breakfast

Having an informed understanding of economic issues can lower a company's risk when making important strategic decisions. At the 2019 Home Builders Association’s Economic Forecast Breakfast, presented by Christensen Lumber two leading economists will discuss the current conditions of the local and national economies and make their predictions on where the economy, particularly as it relates to housing in Kansas City, is headed in 2019. Speaking at the HBA’s Economic Forecast Breakfast will be:

• Robert Dietz is Chief Economist and Senior Vice President for Economics and Housing Policy for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Prior to joining NAHB in 2005, Dietz worked as an economist for the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, specializing in revenue estimation of legislative proposals involving housing, urban development, and other business tax issues.

• Christopher Kuehl is a managing director of Armada Corporate Intelligence and one of the co-founders of the company. Kuehl is a Kansas City area resident and can offer an especially relevant view of local economic conditions. Kuehl is the chief editor for the Business Intelligence Brief, a daily report distributed world-wide by business organizations. He serves as chief economist for the National Association for Credit Management and is the economic analyst for the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association.

This event is open to the public and is one of the leading economic forecast events in the KC area. Cost for the public to attend is $50 per person and $40 for KCHBA members. Breakfast is included.
