SciFlix: Hidden Figures
In the racially and gender segregated Langley, Virginia, of 1962, Katherine Goble and her colleagues worked as a human computers for Al Harrison's Space Task Group. After the film, our moderator will introduce a panel of experts who will provide their reactions to the film and discuss how much has changed in scientific circles in the past 50 years. SciFlix is a free, community outreach event designed around taking the science, theories and ethics in popular fiction and discussing them openly and honestly.

There is a great deal of medical research to support the use of IV Vitamin C therapy for chronic diseases, notably for patients with cancer. The Riordan Clinic has been responsible for much of the research and established protocols involving the safe administration of high dose IV vitamin C. In this presentation, Dr. Lucas will discuss how we incorporate this therapy to help with improved responses to standard treatment as well as quality of life.
