With an exceptionally rough cold and flu season, teachers can use extra wellness supplies. Spectrum Eyecare of Overland Park is donating tissue and hand sanitizers to area school teachers. "We want to help teachers stay well." says Scott Sander, optometrist and owner at Spectrum Eyecare. "Each year, my wife and I receive requests from our kids' schools for Kleenex. We knew there would be an even greater need with this year's flu season."
Dr. Sander will be delivering bundles of tissue and hand sanitizer to South Overland Park schools throughout February. He and his wife have three children in the Blue Valley School District.
