Tom Oltjen joins Equity Bank

Tom Oltjen has joined Equity Bank as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer in November based at Equity Bank’s main Kansas City office at Roe and I-435 in Overland Park. 

Oltjen has worked in the Kansas City banking market for more than 30 years, most recently as a VP with Bank of America. Oltjen also previously served as President and Chief Lending Officer of the Bank of Prairie Village from 2007 until 2013, and an executive vice president at BPV from 2003 until 2007. He also worked in the Kansas City real estate market and is a licensed residential agent in Kansas and Missouri.

Oltjen is a native of Kansas City and graduate of Rockhurst College and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. He has served as a board member for the Kansas Bankers Association, Shawnee Mission Rotary Club, Overland Park Economic Development Council, the KCADC and the Johnson County Reappraisal Advisory Committee, among others.
