City of Overland Park partners with University of Saint Mary
The University of Saint Mary is recognized for academic excellence in graduate and undergraduate education, and the City of Overland Park now has a higher-education partnership with the university’s Overland Park Campus. This partnership gives city employees the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills and/or create a new career pathway-tapping into dozens of top-notch, highly regarded programs.
“Growth and advancement is what this partnership is all about,” explained Charlie Mackey, Director of Community and Business Partnerships. “USM designs its programs for busy, working professionals, so partnerning with the city is a perfect fit.”
City employees will receive a waived application fee and discounted tuition rate in any of USM’s seven graduate programs or seven undergraduate (degree-completion) programs, including (but not limited to):
