Ribbon Cutting for Cleveland University-Kansas City
Cleveland University is celebrating the official opening of Occupational Therapy Assistant and Radiologic Technology labs for two new CUKC degree programs.
At Cleveland University-Kansas City’s College of Health Sciences, both the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology and the A.A.S. Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree programs are offered in focused 8-week course sessions that immerse students into their class subjects and allow for completion of the degree in as little as 2 years. Students in the Rad Tech receive hands-on training and gain experience on campus in 2 functional radiologic equipment rooms and in the University’s 2 demonstration suites, while students in the OTA program have access to a newly created OTA lab on campus. Additionally, students receive clinical experience in partner clinics throughout greater Kansas City and surrounding communities.
